Arushi Nayar is a multi-disciplinary Art Director, Visual Designer and Photographer from New Delhi, based in Barcelona. Her practice circles around the themes of femininity, surrealism, melancholia, memory, desire and intimacy. She creates a dream-like world that inspires contemplation and encourages a deeper connection with the natural world. Her work calls upon the sensitivity of the female gaze in exploring the cultural landscape. Her visual art journey and writing practice are rooted in her love for her community and finds joy and inspiration in the simple moments of life and tries to celebrate them by elevating such musings into thoughtfully composed visuals.

She completed her Master's in Art Direction and New Narratives from ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, Spain and her BA in Communication Design from Pearl Academy, New Delhi, India.

She is always on the lookout to collaborate with creatives from around the world that push boundaries of their mediums and explore pathways have an air of mystery and a metaphorical dimension. 

She invites the viewers to immerse themselves in her world and become part of her imagination.
